COMMENTS FROM PARTICIPANTS AT THE 2012 DUAL LANGUAGE CONFERENCE
The conference was amazing. Speakers, food, set-up, information fair. Everything was great. Highlight for my group was Dr. Linda Espinosa. She was so interesting, informative, engaging, and though provoking. Only slightly sour note for me was missing the opportunity to see another speaker and instead choosing to see Karen Adler, "Meaningful Literature". She seemed overly focused on selling her own materials rather than even attempting to have relevancy between her focus and the focus of the conference. It was disappointing. On a more positive note, it was a joy to learn about changes with Estrellita. Could've stayed for hours more. I posted a pic of the new button and my phone went crazy the rest of the day. We are all so hungry to learn, I feel bad for those who missed out on the conference. Thank you again. Everyone did an exceptional job.
